SEA Movement is a collaboration between people of diverse backgrounds and skills - surfers, artists, writers, journalists, IT experts and policy-makers - who want to preserve the natural resources and beauty of the island of Siargao. It is also a great hub for people with unique skills and a passion for nature to connect and network together. Ultimately, SEA Movement aims to create waves of change and is also about surfing in clean and pristine waters.

As part of this mission, the team will help fund and set up a new grassroots initiative for local women in Siargao.

This livelihood project will focus on recycling items such as shopping bags or plastic from the sea to create fashionable bags and accessories for sale.

The funds raised by HER Planet Earth and Waste No Weekend will go towards buying materials that the women need, such as sewing machines, thread and ink for printing logos, to help them start the process and launch their co-op project.
